Prime Gold Paints
Prime Gold Enamel Paint Surface Preparation Clean and dry the surface. Remove all loose or poorly adhering materials by rubbing down using a suitable abrasive paper (normally for rough use 180 no., and for finer finish 320 no. paper are used. May also be used in combination as required) followed by wipe off. Priming Apply a coat of suitable solvent borne primer. For best results use Primer Gold range of primers specific to surface and allow it to dry. Fill cracks and dents, if any, with appropriate solvent borne putty. Allow it to cut-dry and then sand if for leveling with suitable emery paper, wipe clean and apply another coat of primer. Allow the primer coat to dry overnight, for best results. Metal surface - Primer Gold Red Oxide primer Wood surface –wood primer white or Pink wood primer Masonry - solvent based cement primer Repainted primer- priming not required Finishing Brush, Roller and spray application. Re-coatable in 4-6 hours. For best results re-coat after overnight maturity. Apply at least two desired finish. Thinning Brush or Roller – ready to use , if required add up to 1 part white spirit / Mineral Turpentine Oil (MTO) to 10 parts of paint conventional spary – add up to 1 part while spirit /MTO to 15 parts of paint by volume. Airless spray – follow recommended of the equipment supplier, may take dilution up to 35%. |
